General Tso's Chicken (Crockpot)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Organic chicken breasts
  • 9 g Garlic (3 chopped garlic cloves)
  • 2 tbsp Dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Dried ginger
  • 1 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 16 oz Frozen broccoli

Instructions

  • Combine garlic, ginger, brown sugar, soy sauce and crushed red pepper flakes in a bowl then add chicken
  • Pour all chicken and sauce into crockpot and cook on low for 5 hours
  • Add broccoli and cook for an additional hour
  • Serve over brown rice (count brown rice separately from nutrition facts of this recipe)
