Welcome to the Healthy Steps Nutrition App (“App”), operated by Healthy Steps Nutrition Technology, LLC (“Healthy Steps Nutrition,” “HSN,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Healthy Steps Nutrition mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By downloading the App, creating an account, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Services.

• Messaging with coaches or community groups
• Challenges, progress tracking, and community engagement
• Artificial intelligence–generated feedback related to meals and habits
• Integration with wearable devices or health platforms
Features may change, improve, or be removed over time as the platform evolves.

The Healthy Steps Nutrition App is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
The Services do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content within the App, including lessons, coaching messages, AI feedback, and educational materials, is designed to support general wellness and healthy lifestyle habits.

Never disregard professional medical advice because of information provided within the Services.

User Acknowledgment of Health Risks
Participation in lifestyle, nutrition, or fitness programs involves potential risks.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that changes to nutrition, physical activity, sleep habits, or other health behaviors may carry risks depending on your personal health conditions.

Artificial Intelligence Features
Some features within the App use artificial intelligence (“AI”) to generate insights, feedback, or responses related to nutrition, meal logging, or health habits.
These AI systems are trained using educational materials developed by the Healthy Steps Nutrition Registered Dietitian team and the Healthy Steps Nutrition Coach Certification curriculum.
AI-generated responses are intended for educational purposes only and may not always be accurate, complete, or personalized to your specific health conditions.
AI-generated content should never replace advice from licensed healthcare professionals.
User Accounts
Certain features of the Services require you to create an account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and to keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Healthy Steps Nutrition reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform.
Subscription Services and Free Trial
The Healthy Steps Nutrition App may be offered as a paid subscription service.
New users may be offered a three-day free trial. If you do not cancel your subscription before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert into a paid subscription.
Subscriptions may be billed through:
• Apple App Store
• Google Play Store
Billing, payment processing, and refunds are handled according to the policies of the platform through which you purchased your subscription.
Subscription Renewal and Cancellation
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other billing platform used to purchase the subscription.
Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Unless required by law, subscription payments are non-refundable.
User Content
The Services may allow users to submit content including meal photos, messages, comments, recipes, community posts, or other materials (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting content through the platform, you grant Healthy Steps Nutrition a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the Services for purposes of operating and improving the platform.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to share any content you upload.
Recipe Contributions
If you submit a recipe through the platform, you acknowledge that the recipe may become part of the Healthy Steps Nutrition community recipe library.
Submitted recipes may be viewed, saved, and used by other users within the platform.
Healthy Steps Nutrition may format, display, and distribute recipes within the Services to support community use and recipe discovery.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Services. Prohibited activities include:
• Violating any applicable law or regulation
• Harassing or harming other users
• Posting abusive, offensive, or misleading content
• Attempting to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the platform
• Uploading malicious software or viruses
• Misrepresenting your identity or credentials
Healthy Steps Nutrition reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Services may integrate with third-party platforms or devices, such as wearable technology or health data services.
Examples may include Apple Health, Rook or other health tracking services.
Healthy Steps Nutrition does not control these third-party platforms and is not responsible for their functionality, data accuracy, or privacy practices.
Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
Intellectual Property
All content within the Services, including text, graphics, logos, educational materials, software, and design elements, is owned by Healthy Steps Nutrition and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Services without prior written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Healthy Steps Nutrition will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the Services in the previous twelve months.
Arbitration Agreement
