What Is CrossFit?

 

Greg Glassman founded CrossFit®, Inc. in 2000. Coach Glassman found that the best way to achieve optimal fitness was not through specialization but rather through “constantly varied, functional movement, performed at high intensity.” We use the CrossFit method combining weightlifting, gymnastics, rowing, conditioning and sprinting to improve endurance, agility, speed, strength, and flexibility.

New to CrossFit? Our #1 priority is learning proper technique and mobility to prevent injuries. Everyone must graduate from our OnRamp Program before joining our CrossFit classes. Learn the foundations of CrossFit, barbell and gymnastics movements during 5 one-on-one training sessions with one of our head coaches. Once you graduate from the On-Ramp Program, you will have the knowledge base and confidence to jump into the CrossFit classes.

Scalability For All

 

The class movements are scaled based on individual abilities. Your coach will guide you and determine the best load (weight) and movements based on where you are. Over time, you will have increased capacity and ability to increase weight. We all started somewhere!

New to CrossFit? Don’t worry, you will start with our OnRamp Program and learn the foundations of CrossFit!

All classes are led by a certified coach who has years of experience, certifications and training with CrossFit.
